I am thoroughly impressed by the courteous & professional manner of this company. Besides being friendly, all of the employees were clean, quiet and respectful. We did not have to listen to anyone’s music, there was no profanity, & no one left anything for us to pick up or clear away. The construction planning was detailed and very precise. Dear Pat, We just wanted to let you now how pleased we are with the completed home addition and remodel project. The house looks completely different and really has enhanced the quality of our living style. We think the extra time you spent with us during the Design phase was critical to the success. Both of us were having difficulty picturing how the morning room and kitchen layout would look, but your drawings and pictures of other projects helped immensely. Dominic Pillin, the lead carpenter, was great to work with on the project. He has a tremendous attention to detail and quality in every aspect of the work. The whole crew under his direction did a good job everyday of cleaning up and minimizing the disruption to our family’s daily routine. Dominic worked like it was a project being done on his own home. There were a handful of times he came over in the evenings or on weekends to ensure the site was adequately protected from inclement weather. The kitchen remodel result exceeded our highest expectations. The design work time invested by you and Bruce from Freedom Design has given us a “dream kitchen”. Many of our friends and neighbors are in awe when they see the new kitchen. The upstairs bathroom, the expanded dining room and girls’ bedrooms, and the new room in the basement have given us the additional living space we were seeking when we deciding on doing the addition or moving to a larger home. The whole process followed the timeline you presented to us at the onset and the project cost was very close to the original budget except for one contingency no one could have predicted. In closing, based on the professionalism, creativity and quality your company provided, we will indeed be using Hurst Design-Build-Remodeling for future projects on our home.
