Wedding Planning Packages

Sweethearts Package Starting at $1,200

This package is great for couples that have their wedding all planned out, but want assistance on the day of their wedding. Perfect for couples who want to enjoy the entire day with family and friends. The Sweet Life will take care of all of the details on the day of the wedding providing couples with a stress-free experience allowing them to enjoy their Big Day, stress free, in the way they imagined.

 

Services include:

·         Consultation with bride and groom

·         Information on wedding etiquette

·         Marriage License information

·         Comprise a contact sheet for wedding party

·         Customized ceremony and reception time-line, which is then distributed to

          all contracted vendors and wedding     party

·         Wedding rehearsal (up to one hour)

·         Supervision of venue set up. Ensure that all table numbers, place cards,                             programs, wedding favors are correctly placed 

·         Work with Band/DJ to establish timing for Grand Entrance, First Dance, Cake                     Cutting, Bouquet/Garter Toss.

·         Direct ushers with seating and program distribution

·         Assist with handing out wedding flowers, pinning on corsages, boutonnieres

·         Provide wedding emergency kit

·         Confirm designated duties for wedding party

·         Assist Bride and bridal party getting dressed

·         Provide snacks and drinks for wedding party

·         Get wedding party in place to walk down the aisle. Ensure flowers are held                       correctly, timing is perfect, wedding     dress trains are straight, etc. 

·         Help photographer to get the pictures you want, making sure family members                 are available and in place for photography, etc

·         Ensure reception area is set up as planned, candles lit, DJ on schedule, etc.

·         Make sure things are running on schedule

·         Make sure all vendors receive final payments as needed

·         Oversee packing of top tier of wedding cake.

·         Confirm Departure transportation

·         Supervise transportation of gifts and keepsakes to specified location.

·         On-site coordination and management of entire wedding day for up to 9                           hours. (Additional hours can be added as needed)

 

Wedded Bliss Package Starting at $2,400

This package is perfect for the couple that has all planned out some of their wedding details, but still needs help tying together the loose ends.

Services include (in addition to the Sweethearts package)

 

·         Up to 2 in-person meetings

·         Unlimited email and phone calls (2 months until the wedding day)

·         Research and visiting up to 2 wedding vendors (Includes research to                                   determine if vendor availability,

·         Pricing, vendor comparison and attaining detailed contract.

·         Review and proof BEO (Banquet Event Order) provided by catering manager

·         Confirm all vendor orders and quantities on rental items

Frequently Asked Questions

Q. How far in advance should I place my order?

A. Placing your order as soon as you start planning your event is great. However, I          require at least 3 days in advance for small orders and 1-2 weeks in advance for        larger or customized orders. 

 

Q. Is there a minimum purchase required?

A. Yes, there is a minimum purchase of at least 2 dozen of any item

    (same item or mixed). 

 

Q. Where are you located?

A. The Sweet Life is an online bakery/catering service. We do not yet have a                     storefront. we are based near USC.

 

Q. What are your hours?

A. Since we are online, we are available to take online orders 24 hours a day. Our         phone service is also available 24 hours daily at 323.400.2626, returning contact       within 24hours after order or order inquiry.  

 

Q. How can I place my order?

A. There are 3 easy ways to place  our website and completing the online                   form Your order will be confirmed within 24-48 hours of which the order was placed.

 

Q. Is there a deposit required?

A. Yes. All orders over $100 require a 50% non-refundable deposit in order to be             placed on the calender. Although the deposit is non-refundable, it can be used          

for a later date and never expires.

 

Q. How can I submit my deposit?

A. Deposits can be made in person, over the phone with Square or by PayPal. All             creditcard customers must complete a credit card authorization form, which will        

be emailed to you, and returned by email or fax. There is also a $2 charge for             credit/debit card transactions.

 

Q. What form of payment is accepted?

A. We accept cash, credit or debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express,                 Discover, etc.) and PayPal. Personal checks are accepted, but balance must be           paid in full 4 days before event date.

 

Q. Do you offer tastings/sampling?

A.  Tastings are offered for large orders of 100+ servings. I offer a tasting for 2                people. Any additional guest will be charged a fee. Please contact me by phone          set-up  tasting appointment. Samples are available on various days. Call on                Sundays to check availability for the week. 

 

Q. Do you offer delivery?

A. Yes. Free delivery is offered for customers within a 3 mile radius. Customers               outside of this area will be charged a fee, which varies based on your location.           Delivery charges start at $5

 

Q. Do you ship out of state?

A. Yes. Shipping is offered for all states in the U.S. Shipping costs will be added                to the balance of your order and rates vary based on the state selected for                  delivery. All out of state deliveries are shipped overnight. Any orders placed after      3pm will be shipped overnight the following day.

 

Q. What other services do you provide?

A. The Sweet Life offers catering, full event planning and wedding planning services

 

Q. Do you offer gift cards?

A. No. We do not offer gift cards at this time, but we are working on it. We will be           offering  gift cards soon.

  

Q. Do you offer gluten-free or vegan desserts?

A. I do not offer gluten-free or vegan desserts at this time, but I am in the process of

    ading some my menu. I understand that everyone's dietary and health needs             differ and I   would like to provide sweet treats for everyone to be able to enjoy.

 

Q. What are cake pops?

A. Cake Pops are small, bite-sized cakes  mixed with frosting on a stick dipped in             a colored chocolate candy coating.

 

Q. How do I store my Cake Pops?

A. Cake Pops can be stored in an airtight container at room temperature or in the

    refrigerator. They can be stored for up to a week.

 

Q. What is fondant?

A. Fondant is a thick form of icing which is made out of sugar paste and gives off an

    extremely smooth finish.
